Healthier Crepes – Anvanca® Weight Loss Plan TipMyBalance™ – 10¢ Meals

Each food or meal is given a dollar value in simple terms: nickel, dime, quarter, ½ dollar, and dollar.

Healthier Crepes (serves 12)

Ingredients

1/2 cup egg beaters

2 tbsp buttery spread with extra virgin olive oil

3 tsps sugar

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

2 cups nonfat milk

2 1/2 tsps cinnamon

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking powder

Directions

Melt and cool margarine.  Measure flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt into a bowl.  Stir in remaining ingredients.  Beat until smooth.  For each crepe, lightly grease an 8″ skillet and heat until hot.   Pour 1/4 cup of batter into skillet, and immediately rotate pan until batter covers bottom.

Cook until light brown, turn and brown other side.  If desired, spread with applesauce, jams, jellies, or other condiments.  Also, if desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
