Breakfast: The goal of a good breakfast is the balance between fiber and protein. The combination of which has been shown to keep you feeling fuller, longer, so you eat less. Total Calories:320, Protein: 10g, Fiber 8.5g, Fat 3g.
Make a full bowl of Cheerios (1.5 servings). Add 4oz of skim milk and one cut banana.
Lunch: The goal of a good lunch is the balance between protein, fiber, and fat. The key is not to overeat to avoid an insulin spike. We provide for a mid-day snack so that you can keep your blood sugar stable. Total Calories: 362, Protein: 32.5g, Fiber: 5.5g, Fat: 7.5g
The Smart Roast Beef Sandwich: You are permitted 6 slices of lean roast beef on two slices of whole wheat bread. Add any veggie you like. Do not add cheese. Only Mustard is allowed as a condiment.
Add an apple to finish with something sweet and full of fiber.
Snack: Pistachios (0.5 oz), which is approximately 25 nuts. Calories: 81, Protein 3g, Fiber 1.5g, Fat 6.5g
Anvanca® Grilled BBQ Pork Chop & Rice: Calories 401, Protein: 23g, Fiber: 7.5g, Fat: 4g
¼ cup of your favorite low cal BBQ Sauce
2 boneless pork chops
½ cup of cooked brown rice
½ cup of cooked corn
Add the BBQ sauce to the pork chops at least a ½ hour before grilling.
Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat, and lightly oil grate. Remove pork chops. Retain the remaining BBQ sauce for basting. Cook on preheated grill until the chops are no longer pink in the center, about 5 minutes per side depending on the thickness.
While the pork chop is on the grill, cook the rice and corn.

- Strawberry sauce (Fresh Strawberries & Splenda)
Add 5 medium strawberries, a ½ cup of water, and 1 ½ tsp of Splenda to a small sauce pot. Stir and let simmer for 5 to 10 min. Once you’ve reduced the contents by half, reduce the heat. Stir for a few more minutes until thick. Remove from heat. It makes 2 Servings. Pour half the sauce over 1 slice of angel food cake. Enjoy!
