Anvanca Diet – Day 19: Total Calories 1495

Breakfast: The goal of a good breakfast is the balance between fiber and protein. The combination of which has been shown to keep you feeling fuller, longer, so you eat less. Total Calories: 458, Protein: 29g, Fiber 12.8g, Fat 15.1g.

Anvanca® Basic Egg White Omelet

3 Egg whites
Favorite chopped veggies: onions, mushrooms, green peppers, etc.
1 slice of reduced fat cheddar cheese
PAM or non-stick cooking spray
2 Slices of Whole Wheat Bread
1 pat of reduced fat/no fat spread

Pre-heat a skillet. Spray with non-stick cooking oil. Add veggies and egg to a bowl. Mix well. Add Salt and Pepper (I recommend garlic salt). Pour egg mixture into the skillet. Add bread to the toaster. When cooked on one-side, flip the omelet. Add the cheese to the top. Fold the omelet and serve. Add butter to the toast.

Top it off with a Fiber One Snack Bar

Lunch: The goal of a good lunch is the balance between protein, fiber, and fat. The key is not to overeat to avoid an insulin spike. We provide for a mid-day snack so that you can keep your blood sugar stable. Total Calories: 484, Protein: 37g, Fiber: 9.5, Fat: 3g

Classic Turkey on Whole Wheat: You are permitted 8 slices of turkey breast on two slices of whole wheat bread. Add any veggie you like. Do not add cheese. Only Mustard is allowed as a condiment.

Add an apple and a banana for something sweet.

Snack: Almonds (1oz), which is roughly 20 pieces. Calories:169, Protein 6.3g, Fiber 3.3g, Fat 15g,

Dinner:

Chicken stew with rice & peas Calories 414, Protein: 28g, Fat: 6g (Per Serving, Serves 5)

2 cups chopped onion
2 cups cubed, cooked boneless chicken breast meat
1 cup chopped celery
2 cups whole peeled tomatoes, with liquid
2 cups sliced carrots
5 cups chicken broth
1 cup sweet corn
1 cup peas
1 cup sliced zucchini
2-1/2 cups of brown rice
2-1/2 cups of peas

In a large soup pot combine the onion, chicken, celery, tomatoes with liquid, carrots, broth, corn, peas and zucchini. Stir together and simmer over medium low heat for 1/2 hour, or until vegetables are cooked and tender. Cook the rice and peas according to the package instructions.

Dessert: ½ cup of Slow Churn Vanilla Ice Cream: Calories 110, Protein 3g, Fat: 3.5g
