Anvanca Diet – Day 27: Total Calories 1448

Breakfast: The goal of a good breakfast is the balance between fiber and protein. The combination of which has been shown to keep you feeling fuller, longer, so you eat less. Total Calories: 458, Protein: 29g, Fiber 12.8g, Fat 15.1g.

Anvanca® Basic Egg White Omelet
3 Egg whites
Favorite chopped veggies: onions, mushrooms, green peppers, etc.
1 slice of reduced fat cheddar cheese
PAM or non-stick cooking spray
2 Slices of Whole Wheat Bread
1 pat of reduced fat/non fat spread

Pre-heat a skillet. Spray with non-stick cooking oil. Add veggies and egg to a bowl. Mix well. Add Salt and Pepper (I recommend garlic salt). Pour egg mixture into the skillet. Add bread to the toaster. When cooked on one-side, flip the omelet. Add the cheese to the top. Fold the omelet and serve. Add butter to the toast.

Top it off with a Fiber One Snack Bar

Lunch: The goal of a good lunch is the balance between protein, fiber, and fat. The key is not to overeat to avoid an insulin spike. We provide for a mid-day snack so that you can keep your blood sugar stable. Total Calories: 366, Protein: 35g, Fiber: 5.5, Fat: 7g

The Smart Ham Sandwich: You are permitted 6 slices of 98% fat free deli ham on two slices of whole wheat bread. Add any veggie you like. Do not add cheese. Only Mustard is allowed as a condiment.

Add an apple to finish with something sweet and full of fiber.

Snack: Kashi Chewy Granola Bar. Calories: 140, Protein 7g, Fiber 4g, Fat 5g,

Dinner:

Anvanca® Grill-less BBQ Chicken: Calories 420, Protein: 31g, Fiber: 4g, Fat: 5.4g (Serving, Serves 2)
2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons chopped onions
1/3 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar
1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 cup of cooked brown rice
1 cup of cooked corn

Mix the onions, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, dry mustard, salt, and pepper in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a baking dish. Arrange chicken in the baking dish. Pour sauce over the chicken. Bake 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until chicken is not pink inside.

Dessert:

- Angel Food Cake
- Strawberry sauce (Fresh Strawberries & Splenda)

Add 5 medium strawberries, a ½ cup of water, and 1 ½ tsp of Splenda to a small sauce pot. Stir and let simmer for 5 to 10 min. Once you’ve reduced the contents by half, reduce the heat. Stir for a few more minutes until thick. Remove from heat. It makes 2 Servings. Pour half the sauce over 1 slice of angel food cake. Enjoy!
