Anvanca Diet – Day 13: Total Calories 1200
Breakfast: The goal of a good breakfast is the balance between fiber and protein. The combination of which has been shown to keep you feeling fuller, longer, so you eat less.
Anvanca® Power Oatmeal
Oatmeal (1 cup)
½ cup of either strawberries or blueberries
Splenda (2 packets)
Add 1 cup of oatmeal to a bowl. Add almonds, Splenda, and water. Use the microwave as per the package directions. Add the berries either pre or post cooking depending up your own personal tastes.
Lunch The goal of a good lunch is the balance between protein, fiber, and fat. Given the low number of carbs, we can see an insulin spike. We provide for a mid-day snack so that you can keep your blood sugar stable.
The Simple Salad: Prepare 2 cups of tossed salad. This can include lettuce and any other veggies that you like. Only veggies – no croutons, bacon bits, etc.. To the salad, add a single serve can, which is ⅓- ½ cup of tuna packed in water. Drizzle 2 tbsp. of Lite Italian Dressing (or another Lite variety).Add about a ½ cup of cooked kidney beans. Sprinkle ⅛ cup of sliced almonds to add some texture.
Snack: Pistachios (0.5 oz), which is approximately 25 nuts.
1 pound of lean ground beef (95% lean)
1 onion (chopped)
1 ½ ounces enchilada sauce (dry, mix)
10 flour tortillas (10 inch)
2 cups shredded reduced fat cheddar cheese, separated into 1 ½ cups, and ½ cup
2 ¼ ounces black olives (sliced, drained)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees (175 degrees C) In a medium skillet over medium high heat, cook the ground beef and onion until beef is evenly browned and onion is tender. Prepare the enchilada sauce according to package directions. Pour 1/4 cup of the sauce into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. On each flour tortilla, place an equal portion of the ground beef mixture and an equal portion of cheddar cheese from the 1 ½ cups. Hold the 1/2 cup of cheese for later. Then tightly roll the tortillas and place seam side down in the baking dish. Pour the remaining sauce over the top of the enchiladas and sprinkle with the remaining cheese and olives. Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and cheese is thoroughly melted

Strawberry sauce (Fresh Strawberries & Splenda)
Add 5 medium strawberries, a ½ cup of water, and 1 ½ tsp of Splenda to a small sauce pot. Stir and let simmer for 5 to 10 min. Once you’ve reduced the contents by half, reduce the heat. Stir for a few more minutes until thick. Remove from heat. It makes 2 Servings. Pour half the sauce over 1 slice of angel food cake. Enjoy!
