Anvanca® Diet: Female Combo Day 05

Anvanca Diet – Day 5: Total Calories 1200

Breakfast:  The goal of a good breakfast is the balance between fiber and protein.  The combination of which has been shown to keep you feeling fuller, longer, so you eat less.

Total Calories: 463, Protein: 37g, Fiber 5.5g, Fat 12g.

Anvanca® Power Oatmeal

Oatmeal (1 cup)
Almonds (10)
½ cup of either strawberries or blueberries
Splenda (2 packets)

Add 1 cup of oatmeal to a bowl.  Add almonds, Splenda, and water.  Use the microwave as per the package directions.  Add the berries either pre or post cooking depending up your own personal tastes.

Lunch: The goal of a good lunch is the balance between protein, fiber, and fat.  The key is not to overeat to avoid an insulin spike.  We provide for a mid-day snack so that you can keep your blood sugar stable.

The Simple Salad:  Prepare 2 cups of tossed salad.  This can include lettuce and any other veggies that you like.  Only veggies – no croutons, bacon bits, etc..  To the salad, add a ⅓ cup of chick peas or garbanzo beans.  Drizzle 3 tbsp. of Fat-Free Italian Dressing (or another Fat Free variety).  Sprinkle ⅛ cup of sliced almonds to add some texture.

Top it all off with an apple.

Snack: Almonds (1oz), which is roughly 20 pieces.

Anvanca® Grilled Pork Chops & Rice

¼ cup of your favorite low cal marinade (recommend garlic & herb)
2 boneless pork chops
1 cup of cooked green beans
½ cup of cooked broccoli

Place the pork chops into a sealable plastic bag, and pour the marinade over top.  Marinate in the refrigerator overnight, during the day while at work, or at minimum 1 hour before grilling.

Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat, and lightly oil grate.  Remove pork chops from marinade, and shake off excess.  Discard remaining marinade.  Cook on preheated grill until the chops are no longer pink in the center, about 5 minutes per side depending on the thickness.

While the chops are grilling, bring a pot of salted water to a boil.  Cook the broccoli in boiling water for 5 to 7 minutes until tender.  Add salt and pepper to taste.  Cook the beans according to the package instructions.

Dessert: Enjoy one slice of Ricotta Cheesecake
