Anvanca Diet – Day 24: Total Calories 1500
Breakfast: The goal of a good low carb breakfast is the balance between saturated fat and protein. Protein and fat can help you feel satisfied, and protein can help you be more alert in morning. The challenge is to keep the saturated fat content as low as possible while still providing some variety.
Have one bacon, egg, and cheese puff
Protein Boost:
Add a 1 scoop of whey protein to 8oz of Almond milk, and mix well.
Lunch: The goal of a good lunch is the balance between protein, fiber, and fat. Given the low number of carbs, we can see an insulin spike. We provide for a mid-day snack so that you can keep your blood sugar stable.
Roast Beef Rotisserie Style: You are permitted 6 slices – 3 ounces of lean roast beef rotisserie carved. Prepare one package of broccoli with cheese to accompany the roast beef. Finish the meal with a ½ cup of 1% fat cottage cheese.
Snack: Pistachios ½ cup shelled.
Dinner:
Simple Italian Meatloaf
Ingredients
1 egg (lightly beaten)
1 can of condensed onion soup
1 1/3 cups crackers (crushed) or toasted bread crumbs
1 lb lean ground beef (95% lean)
1 can of condensed mushroom soup (undiluted)
6 oz of tomato sauce
Directions
In a bowl, combine the egg, onion soup, and cracker or bread crumbs. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into a loaf. Place in a greased 11-in. x 7-in. x 2-in. baking dish. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Pour mushroom soup and tomato sauce over loaf. Bake 1 hour longer to make sure that the meat is no longer pink. Drain excess fats if you want to reduce the calories. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with 2 cups of tossed salad, topped with 3 tablespoons of low calorie dressing, preferably Italian or vinaigrette.
Dessert:
