Day 24: Total Calories 1275 - Anvanca Diet
Breakfast: The goal of a volumetrics diet is to swap high calorie dense foods for lower ones. Fat is the highest density nutrient so these options focus on whole grains and protein.
Bowl of Whole Grain Cereal with Fresh Fruit
1 ½ cups of Cheerios® or similar whole grain cereal
½ cup of blueberries or strawberries
Splenda for sweetening
6 oz. of Skim Milk
Prepare cereal to your liking
Lunch: The goal of a good lunch is the balance between protein, fiber, and fat. Given the low number of carbs, we can see an insulin spike. We provide for a mid-day snack so that you can keep your blood sugar stable.
Classic Chicken Salad: Have a serving of Chicken Salad from Day 1 (ADD LINK) Prepare one package of broccoli with cheese to accompany the roast beef. Finish the meal with a ½ cup of 1% fat cottage cheese.
Dinner:
Simple Italian Meatloaf
Ingredients
1 can of condensed onion soup
1 1/3 cups crackers (crushed) or toasted bread crumbs
1 lb lean ground beef (95% lean)
1 can of condensed mushroom soup (undiluted)
6 oz of tomato sauce
Directions
In a bowl, combine the egg, onion soup, and cracker or bread crumbs. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into a loaf. Place in a greased 11-in. x 7-in. x 2-in. baking dish. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Pour mushroom soup and tomato sauce over loaf. Bake 1 hour longer to make sure that the meat is no longer pink. Drain excess fats if you want to reduce the calories. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with 2 cups of tossed salad, topped with 3 tablespoons of low calorie dressing, preferably Italian or vinaigrette.
Dessert:
Anvanca® Guilt Free Banana Split: Place a ½ cup of slow-churned, no sugar added, vanilla ice cream between a split medium banana.
