When you are dieting, you should avoid the Burger options at Jack in the Box. Your choices for low-calorie meals at Jack in the Box are very limited, and many exceed the targets for dieting men and women. If you are not careful, you can easily exceed the calorie limits for a non-dieting man and woman.
When you are trying to lose weight, typically, you should set a target of 1,200 – 1,400 total calories a day for women and 1,800 – 2,000 for men. This will equate to a weight loss rate of one to two pounds per week. It is as important to know what not to eat as it is to know what to eat. The recommended calories you should eat per day are based upon your height, weight, age, and gender. Men are on the upper end and women are on the lower. The older you are, the fewer calories you need.

Given that the calories of these items are hard to find, and often difficult to decipher, knowing what not to eat is key to sticking to your diet.
